2016 LSBF Convention

In October 2016, the Lone Star Bonsai Federation (LSBF) held its annual Texas State Convention under the inspiring theme “Bonsai – Living Art.” Hosted by the Corpus Christi Bonsai Club, the four-day event took place from October 13–16 at the Emerald Beach Hotel in Corpus Christi, Texas, right along the scenic shoreline.

The convention brought together bonsai enthusiasts from across Texas and beyond for an engaging celebration of the living art form. Attendees enjoyed a vibrant program filled with high-quality demonstrations, hands-on learning, friendly competition, and warm camaraderie. It was widely remembered as a great event where everyone had a wonderful time sharing their passion for bonsai.
